Are you worried your child will inherit diabetes?

If Type 2 diabetes runs in your family, I have good news! Your child can avoid a diagnosis by learning to choose food which keeps blood sugar in balance, aids in weight loss, and even tastes good.

Unfortunately, the dietary advice we’ve all heard for years is that in order to lose weight and avoid diabetes, we need to eat low-fat tasteless food and piles of salad. Yuck. You know this is not sustainable, especially for children who want to eat what their friends are eating!

What if you could serve food that tastes delicious (because it’s what we were designed to eat) and helps your whole family feel energetic and focused? And which helps your child avoid obesity, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, and Type 2 diabetes?

And how would you like to have confidence that your child will live a healthy, long life? No debilitating illness. No long list of medications. No frequent trips to the hospital. No health worries.

The earlier in life children learn how to make wise food choices, the earlier they will start on the path toward vibrant health and a fulfilling life free of disease.

This used to be the norm.

Now, many children are diagnosed with an “adult-onset” disease before the age of ten. The number of children who live with a chronic medical condition continues to increase. Kids today are being diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, obesity, asthma, chronic digestive problems, and many other life-altering illnesses at an alarming rate before they even reach their teen years.

Don’t let your child become a statistic.

You have the power to give your child the gift of health, for life!

It starts right now, at your dining table, with the food you feed your family every day. It’s delicious at the table!

Hi, I’m Shari Gilford

I’m on a mission to transform the health of an entire generation of children. Will you join me?

My dream is that every child would be healthy and strong throughout childhood and into adulthood, and even into their 80s and 90s. That should be normal, yet statistics show that obesity, diabetes, asthma, mental health problems, and other medical conditions are rising exponentially among children.

I’m sure you don’t want your child to end up as one of these statistics.

There is an answer. As children learn how the body works, they will understand why foods can either strengthen or harm their body. This knowledge will equip them to choose foods which support health. And better yet, they will enjoy eating foods that make them feel good!

Full Table Nutrition exists to educate and inspire adults and children to enjoy fresh, whole foods which nourish us for life. I wish for all of us to have a positive relationship with food and to eat with delight. A full table is a picture of abundance and joy.

As a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, I would love to inspire you and your family on your path toward excellent health!
